Joel Guptill is on a mission to blend the pop/blues guitar driven sound with soulful melodies that create a fresh experience for the listener. Inspired by music from the 60's and 70's as well as the early 2000's, he would say his music as if John Mayer and Allen Stone had a music baby...with an added vibe of indie rock. His fearlessly honest lyrics, easily singable melodies, and groovy rhythms will have the listener hooked by the first verse and singing by second chorus.

Joel is an East Coast Canadian currently based in Nashville, TN. He has performed for audiences all across the United States and has made strong headway in the local Nashville scene since his arrival in late 2019. He has featured regularly with the award winning artist collective Pitch Meeting and performed at Bonnaroo Festival in 2022 and 2023. He released his Debut EP “Quarter Life Crisis” in the fall of 2023, following this up with two live albums across 2024 and 2025. His latest work focuses heavily on a modern meets vintage throwback sound and he is currently in the middle of releasing singles to promote the next phase of his artistry.
