Joel Guptill is an authentic, joyful, and people-loving performer, songwriter, and artist. Pulling from a diverse set of influences, his live performance is nothing less than memorable. Whether playing classic covers from the likes of Billy Joel, Queen, and Roy Orbinson to current day hits from John Mayer, Harry Styles, and Ed Sheeran, he is sure to play something you love.
His original music is a mixture of catchy pop/blues guitar (John Mayer, Maroon Five, Gavin Degraw), soulful melodies (Freddie King, Allen Stone, Anderson East), and heartfelt lyrics (The Beatles, Don Mclean, Ben Rector). If you asked him to say what his music is like in a few words he would respond with the following: "groove, soul, and rock & roll!"
He features regularly with the Pitch Meeting collective (one of Nashville's top rated house bands) and has had the honor of performing at places such as Whiskey Jam, Brooklyn Bowl, and Bonnaroo festival.
